About Us

“The smell of good bread baking, like the sound of lightly flowing water, is indescribable in its evocation of innocence and delight.”

M.F.K. Fisher

Ciao a tutti! We are Rita and Agnese, Italian sisters from Abruzzo, a beautiful region in the centre of the country with a very strong cooking tradition. Rita is a mum and a passionate cook and she’d like to share super simple and extra tasty Italian recipes, and few useful tips to make everything really easy.

Although she has spent many years in England, she has always cooked in the Italian traditional way, which she has learnt from her mum, as her family have always done generation after generation.

Agnese, who lived in Rome, Stockholm, Berlin and now Barcelona, is a tireless traveler and a wine expert. She’ll tell about how to match food and drinks, choosing quality wines and spirits without spending a fortune. Our grandparents were bakers, one of the main, sweetest memory of our childhood is the smell of bread in the oven, the taste of it, warm bread with few drops of olive oil, simply the best food in the world. A dish made with love means that you care, sharing nice food and enjoying a good glass of wine is love for life. Most Italians can cook every day two substantial healthy meals and none of us is a trained chef.

Do you know why? Because cooking Italian can be really simple, and it’s even simpler to enjoy your food with a superb wine which is also very affordable, follow us and you’Il be surprised! Buon appetito e buona vita!

“I can’t stand people who do not take food seriously.”

Oscar Wilde
