GRAZIE to all our clients and students who have given their contribution to our fundraising for the ACT (Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust)

Thanks to your generosity we were able to make our usual Christmas donation to support the children’s wards and services at Addenbrooke’s and Rosie Hospitals in Cambridge.

I would like to share with everyone the thank you note we have received from Amy Guest, the Act Community Relationship Coordinator, as I think I couldn’t choose better words to explain the meaning and purpose of our donation:

“Dear Easy Italian,
Thank you for supporting Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals by raising    £504.00 this year for a total of £3962.00 over the past few years.
Your generous donation will play a vital role in making our brilliant hospitals, even better. Please pass  on  our  sincere  thanks  to  everyone  who  contributed  for  their  kindness  and  generosity.
Because of people like you, we can respond to the hospital’s urgent requests, and we can continue to make sure that your hospital remains one of the best in the country. Your invaluable support  will help to make wards and clinics more comfortable and less frightening.
It  enables  us  to  invest  in  the  latest equipment  to  speed  up  diagnosis,  improve  treatment, and transform care and rehabilitation of our patients. It can also support our staff in their research and training developments”.

After two years of break due to the pandemic, this year Easy Italian will sponsor again a team to run the 10k Race for Life in Cambridge on Sunday 3rd of July. We want to continue to give our contribution to help the research to beat cancer. This is such an important cause, as cancer has maybe affected ourselves or someone near us, so in one way or another it is or has been part of our lives.

If you want to be part of the Easy Italian team we’d love to hear from you.

Get in touch by sending an e-mail to:

… and play your part to help the research to develop more effective treatments in the future.

If you want to give your contribution, we’d be very grateful, this is the LINK to our fundraising page.

A chat with Marco’s mum, Angelica, about our relaxed classes, with a higher level of support for students with special needs or learning difficulties

We are happy to see that the feedback we are receiving is very positive. Here we chat with the first parent who chose the classes for her son.

Play Italian was founded by Martina: she’s been a long-time supporter of Easy Italian and her daughter Chiara has been attending our weekly classes for some time.

Martina developed Play Italian with the idea of having fun as you learn.  Specifically learning Italian as you play with puzzles and games (enigmistica).

Pop over to playitalian.com and have a look at the free puzzles and games: word searches, crosswords, word matches, word scrambles, cryptograms.

Martina also published two books of Italian Puzzles and she has a shop with t-shirts and merchandise for lovers of Italy, Italian culture and language.
