“Easy Italian group classes for children” are back and we are looking forward to meeting many enthusiastic young learners!
For this school year, 2020-2021, we are glad to offer an on-line course, structured to ensure the effectiveness of the teaching and the engagement of the children.
The course will run every Saturday, term-time only. It has the aim to improve children’s language skills (speaking, writing and reading in Italian).
To maximise the effectiveness of the lessons we won’t have more than 6 children per group and we’ll try, where possible, to put together children of the same age.
I regret we won’t accept children who are currently in Reception because we think they are too young to take part effectively in an on-line class. The course is suitable for primary school children – bilingual or non-bilingual – from YEAR 1 to YEAR 6.
There will be 10 sessions per term. Each session is a separate module, so it won’t be a problem if a child misses a session because every time we’ll have a brand new topic. Each child will be asked to explore the topic in a different way, according to age and language level. There will also be some homework to maximise the effectiveness of the sessions.
We have been teaching consistently children on-line since the lockdown started last March and, on our experience so far, on-line sessions are as effective as traditional classes. The children learn as much as they would learn being in an actual class.
We know very well how learning or improving a language is an enriching experience for all ages, but young students have the most to gain from this wonderful adventure. Quite simply, starting early offers the widest possible set of benefits and opportunities.
The course fee is £6,5 per session. The enrolment is for the whole term (£65).
Please contact us to enrol your child to the course and don’t hesitate to e-mail me any question.
